On the Team and Enterprise plans, check intervals go as low as 60 seconds. Combined with parallel multi-region checks, Sentinel typically detects and confirms a real outage within 60–120 seconds and delivers the first alert within 38 seconds of incident confirmation. The Starter plan runs at 5-minute intervals. All alert delivery is logged with timestamps so you always know exactly when an incident was detected and when the first notification was sent.

Yes. Sentinel's HTTP monitoring works for any URL — your public website, REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, health check routes, or internal load balancer URLs. You can configure expected status codes, response time thresholds, and content assertions (keyword presence/absence, JSON key checks via content rules). For endpoints that require authentication, the browser synthetic check can execute the full authentication flow before validating the protected resource.

Yes — each hostname you add counts as one monitored domain. For example, sentinel.app, api.sentinel.app, and staging.sentinel.app are three domains. This keeps your monitoring budget completely predictable regardless of how many check types or regions you enable per domain. There are no per-check or per-region fees — a flat domain count covers everything.

Starter includes email alerts. Team and Enterprise add Telegram (with rich HTML formatting and inline channel management), Slack, and webhooks. Every delivery attempt and outcome is stored in the notification log — you always know whether an alert was received. Quiet-hours windows silence informational alerts while letting critical incidents through via bypass routing. Escalation rules, per-channel rate limits, and acknowledgement flows are all configurable.

Sentinel injects a real MetaMask extension into a headless Chromium browser and fully renders your page. This detects DeFi wallet phishing overlays, injected scripts, content-security-policy violations, and visual hijacking that HTTP checks simply cannot see. It also checks Google Safe Browsing status. All stored data — check results, alert content, API keys, credentials — is encrypted with AES-GCM at rest using keys derived per-tenant. Access is gated by session management, CSRF double-submit protection, TOTP 2FA enforcement (Team+), role-based access control with four permission levels, and an append-only audit log.
